Apple’s four new iPhones are coming to the market – iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone Pro Max. iPhones will support 5G technology.
It contains Apple’s A-Fourteen bionic chip. The operating system is iOS-14. Apple claims that the devices in this series will work much faster than before.
Apple launched the iPhone 12 series at a virtual event on Tuesday (October 13). The iPhone 12 Mini is smaller in size and relatively affordable compared to the other three smartphones in the series.
The iPhone 12 Mini with 64 GB storage is priced at ৬ 699, which is more than Rs 59,000 in Bangladeshi currency (one dollar equals Rs 75). The iPhone 12 Mini with 128 GB and 256 GB storage is priced at 9749 (about Rs 64,000) and 749 (Rs 72,000) respectively.
The iPhone 12 with 64 GB storage is priced at ৭ 699, which is Tk 8,000 in Bangladeshi currency. The iPhone 12 with 128GB and 256GB storage is priced at ৯ 649 (Rs 72,000) and ৯ 949 (around Rs 71,000) respectively.
The 128GB, 256GB and 512GB iPhone 12 Pros are priced at ৯ 999 (Rs 75,000), ৯ 1,099 (Rs 93,000) and হাজার 1,299 (Rs 110,000) respectively.
The 128GB, 256GB and 512GB iPhone Pro Maxs are priced at 1,099 (Rs 93,000), ১১ 1,119 (Rs 95,000) and হাজার 1,399 (Rs 119,000) respectively.
The screen size of the iPhone 12 Mini is 5.4 inches and that of the iPhone 12 is 6.1 inches. The screen size of the Pro is 7.1 inches and that of the Pro Max is 6.8 inches. The devices use OLED technology instead of LCD.
HDR display has been used in every device of the iPhone 12 series. Every iPhone is capable of resisting any kind of liquid, water, and dust. ‘Ceramic Shield’ has been used to ensure the safety of the display.
The iPhone 12 series devices are the most advanced in terms of camera. In-depth camera technology has come to the iPhone for the first time, especially for the Pro models.
At the event, Apple CEO Tim Cook claimed that it is possible to make movies with the camera of iPhone 12 Pro.
However, for the first time, no charger or headphones are being provided with the iPhone. Apple said the decision was made to reduce the negative impact on the environment.
