Argentina canceled the football season in Corona


The Argentine Football Association (FA) has canceled the 2019-20 football season, which has been suspended since mid-March due to coronavirus. Claudio Tapia, president of the Argentine Football Association, made the announcement. The lockdown has been going on in Argentina since March 20. Quarantine instructions are available until May 10.

“We are going to finish the tournament so that we can select the best team for the continental competition next year,” Claudio Tapia told local media.

The Argentine Football Association (FA) also said there would be no relegation this season and next due to disruptions to health risks. In this league, relegation is determined, which is decided by points in every game taken over a 3-year term. But this season and next season it will be postponed.
